Assistant Retail Store Manager

MALZ Motoring& Leisure Zone is a fast growing WA owned retail store which specialises in automotive parts and associated automotive leisure gear and accessories.

We are seeking an experienced (minimum 3 years) retail team member who has held a previous supervision position to join our team as our Assistant Store Manager.

The successful candidate will have worked within retail industry, preferably within Automotive Parts or a very similar Industry, eg hardware and enjoys leading a small team to ensure they provide our customers with quality service and sales. They must have a passion for cars, and thus have a good knowledge of its components, etc.

We would like this individual to come on board in the role of Assistant Store Manager, participate in our Store Management Development Program to eventually progress to a Store Manager role.

This role offers a 5 days per week roster, Sunday to Thursday as well as a very competitive remuneration package.

In summary, candidates wishing to apply and be considered for this role must have and include details within their application letter:
• minimum 3 years experience in a retail environment preferably automotive parts & accessories or a very similar industry, eg hardware.
• has previously worked within a supervision role of a small team

• A desire to progress to a Store Management role

Casual or Part-time - Cashiers
• flexible hours offered (inc. weekends) and during school hours for working mums
• previous retail experience, including POS is a must
• Sound PC & cash handling skills required
